Container Gardening Tips
Container gardening is my very favorite hobby. I have been enjoying it since I was very young. My father raised herbs and vegetables in containers from the time I was about a year old, and I always enjoyed it.
I have been into organic gardening and all types of gardening since I was around 6 or 8 years old. Before I started gardening on my own, I would help my grandparents in their gardens, and I helped my dad in his green house from the time I was barely old enough to walk!
Growing in containers is very convenient for several reasons. It makes it easy to grow plants if you have little or no yard space, which is very helpful for people who live in apartments or in cities where yard space is very small. It makes it easy to bring your plants indoors when there is bad weather, and helps you extend your growing season by starting plants indoors or moving mature plants inside when it begins to frost. It lets you move plants to better areas of your yard. And you can take your garden with you if you move!
Container gardening is also great for disabled or elderly people. Containers can be placed on tables at any height, making for very easy access to maintain plants. for many people, growing in pots is the only way to garden comfortably.
